Our Venture

Planting wild native biennial and perennial species in those unused ‘gaps’ in your green spaces is arguably far better for nature and your pocket, than non-native ornamental cultivated plants.

Our Methods

We try to work as sustainably and ecologically friendly as possible. All of our plants are grown from locally sourced seeds or from other local sustainable sources.

We use peat free compost and never use any pesticides. All of our seedlings and plants are grown outside in natural conditions; we don’t use fertilisers, artificial heating or lighting, and provide only water in dry spells.

We source, clean and re-use local second hand plastic pots and also encourage the people we sell to/work with to return the pots for re-use. We minimise labels and paperwork by having plant care and advice online.

Any left over plants are re-planted in our garden, helping to boost the population here and ensuring we have sustainable seed sources going forward.
