Bee Friendly Wildflowers

We are currently a small, not-for-profit, venture established in late 2023, that works sustainably and ecologically to produce a range of native wildflowers for local conservation projects.

Our venture started from a love of wildflowers; helping to grow them and create seed banks in a small village community in Yorkshire. Now based in north Lancashire we have started supporting more local charities and projects. More information about our venture and how we grow our plants from seed is on the ABOUT page.

For up to date information on how our plants are getting on and where we will be attending events please go to our Facebook page.

In 2024 BeeFriendlyWildflowers grew and donated over 3,000 plug plants to various community groups, who have used them in environmental PROJECTS.

We do sell surplus plants and seeds; all the proceeds of which go towards covering our propagation costs.

If you own or have access to a flower border, lawn, hedgerow, pond, container, allotment or mini -meadow have a look to see how bee-friendly your green space already is. If you have any ‘gaps’ or simply want to increase your flowering period, then please check out our WILDFLOWER species list to see if there are any plants and seeds that will help you create or enhance your nature rich green space.

If you are unsure as to which flowers are best for you we can give advice on choosing them, preparing the areas and general PLANT CARE. Just email us at the address below.
